Administration Officer

The Iffley Academy, Oxford

Grade 9: £25,951 to £28,485 pro rata per annum:

18 hours a week, 38 weeks a year

We are seeking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic, and flexible Administration Officer who has experience of payroll in an educational environment to join our thriving and vibrant Special Needs academy.

The successful candidate will be an organised and competent individual, who is capable of achieving quality outcomes while dealing with competing demands. You will have excellent administrational, organisational and IT skills, and you will enjoy working on projects within a busy and friendly team. You will have a supportive and positive approach with a ‘can – do’ attitude, and be a good team worker. Your work will primarily be focused on the areas of payroll and HR, and you will demonstrate a methodical approach with meticulous attention to detail. You will have experience of working in payroll in an education context. You will however be willing to take on a range of administration, finance and organisational tasks in order to meet the needs of the academy, particularly as the Multi Academy Trust expands.

Flexibility and versatility are core requirements of this role and you will be willing to commit wholehearted to our school community which is made up of supportive and dedicated staff, and students who have a range of Special Educational Needs.

Receptionist

37 hours a week, 38 weeks a year (term time only)

Grade 6 – actual annual salary £15,050 to £16,772 (depending on experience)

We are seeking a flexible and motivated individual who has excellent skills and expertise to join our thriving academy. This is a great opportunity for you to be part of a friendly and dynamic team.

You will be a good team player, who will become an integral part of our academy community. As receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors to our academy and will have a key role in promoting the academy. You will enjoy the opportunity of getting to know and working with our pupils, all of whom have special needs.

As well as your receptionist responsibilities, you will also undertake administrative and clerical duties and work closely with colleagues. You will be well versed in multi-tasking, and have excellent ICT skills, demonstrating attention to detail across all your tasks.

The working hours for this post are 8am to 4pm, Monday to Thursday, 8am to 3pm on Friday, with a daily 30 minute unpaid lunch break. No annual leave can be taken during termtime.

We are seeking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic, and flexible Higher Level Teaching Assistant to provide cover for teaching and learning to join our thriving and vibrant Special Needs academy.

The successful candidate will have a supportive and positive approach with a ‘can – do’ attitude, and be a good team worker. You will provide cover for teaching and teaching assistant colleagues, which will involve planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals, groups and classes, under an agreed system of supervision.
