Mr Atfield is the medical coordinator at Iffley Academy. Mr Atfield is responsible for risk assessing students’ medical needs and organising the safe storage and administration of students’ medication. Please contact them via the school office if you would like to discuss medical concerns. (Please be aware the medical coordinator role is part time) If a student is starting new medication and it is necessary to take this during the school day, please follow the link below to provide consent:

Permission to administer medicine

When providing medication to be taken at school, please make sure you pass it directly to a member of staff or taxi escort.  Please be aware that medication can only be given once the Permission to Administer form is completed. Prescription medication can only be given when it is provided in its original packaging and the labelling includes the student’s name and dosage.
