The Iffley Academy is designated as a special school for children and young people aged 5-18 (although currently only admitting pupils ages 11-18) with complex Moderate Cognition and Learning needs and secondary needs in Social Communication and Interaction (including ASC) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, and other associated difficulties including ADHD and Specific Learning Difficulties. We use a child-centred approach to ensure that all children are included and have access to the provision and resources they require to be successful. (Adapted from Admission Indicators)
Further information about admission can also be obtained by emailing senco@iffleyacademy.co.uk
School tours are also offered to interested parents at various stages across the school year. Parents should contact the school reception for further information about the next tour and to book a place either by calling on 01865 747606 or emailing office@iffleyacademy.co.uk
Please note that we are unable to comment on the likelihood of a child being offered a place, or on their eligibility for placement within our setting, as the decision to place students at Iffley is made by the Local Authority. If you would like The Iffley Academy to be considered as an education placement for your child, please speak to your EHCP Casework Officer and ask them to make a formal consultation request. Consultations from Local Authorities other than Oxfordshire County Council, must also be copied to Oxfordshire’s EHCP Casework team at sencentralteam@oxfordshire.gov.uk
SEN Officers are to send consultations too consulations@thegallerytrust.co.uk
